School-age Summer Camp Page

Camp provides an informal setting for summer learning and working together in teams, interacting with mentors, and exploring through hands on activities.

Each year our summer camp features new and exciting weekly themes.  A signature of our Summer Camp program each year is The Village Summer Camp Olympics.  This themed week brings with it so much fun and the children have an opportunity to compete for Camp Spirit and in various events from tug-o-war, pool relays, and obstacle courses, to watermelon and pie eating contests.  As part of our regular program we also offer daily swimming, summer camp arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor sports/games, camp cooking, camp science for kids, on campus and traditional summer camp field trips.  To add to the fun, we also invite our campers to enjoy at least two summer camp sleepovers each season.

Our summer camp counselors are carefully screened and selected. Each summer, our multi-cultural staff offers an exciting opportunity for your campers to get to know both local individuals as well as those from other parts of the world.  We hire our English speaking foreign counselors predominantly from the United Kingdom (UK) through a cultural exchange program called Camp America. Camp America has been providing international staff to summer camps all across the USA, since 1969.

All counselors are carefully screened, including a FBI Level 2 Background screening.  All camp staff will be First Aid and CPR certified and will attend pre-camp training focusing on safety and security, as well as all aspects of our camp programs.

The majority of our counselors are either attending college or are college graduates who have experience working with children in a variety of settings.  Our multi-cultural staff is both enriching and exciting for our campers and their families.

Our waterfront staff is lifeguard certified, and our Waterfront Director is also certified as a Water Safety Instructor (WSI) with American Red Cross. We do offer American summer Red Cross swimming lessons on our campus each day and your child can sign-up for lessons and return to their camp activities without the need for you to drive them anywhere additional.
We encourage families to register your camper for a full 5 days of camp each week so that they have an opportunity to experience the full impact of our themed weeks as they were intended. Of course we do understand that your child may not be able to attend every day of camp.  You have the option to register your camper for 2 days, 3 days, or 5 days each camp week.  Camp is available to your child all summer long, and we ask only a two week minimum participation. Lunch, snacks, and all regular field trips are included in your camp fees.  Additionally, children will receive an Olympic shirt as part of registration.

When you sign up, please fill out the summer camp registration forms, and check the appropriate box to select the camp experience and schedule that best suits your family’s needs.

You may print forms from our website to register for camp, or pick them up at either of our campuses:
